My daughter is lucky to have 2 sets of GREAT grandparents in her life! I often forget to take my camera when we go visit them, but after our train ride a few weeks ago we stopped to visit Nain & Taid.

Nain means grandmother and Taid is grandfather in Welsh (North). I always thought these “names” were special, since no one else I knew used these names besides my family. K could also say them clearly at a very young age. For almost a year now, I will catch K “calling” her Nain and talking to her on her play phones. Nain must be really funny because K laughs a lot during their “conversations”!

I love watching K interact with her grandparents and great-grandparents! It is amazing how much JOY she brings into all of our loves and vice versa. I know K will cherish these pictures later in life.

Sometimes I need to video record these 3 together because I couldn’t snap fast enough to capture all the love and laughter. Taid was teaching K how to “call” a turkey and make other silly sounds.

Now, I need to take my camera to the other GREAT-Grandparents house, so I can finish this mini-series! Check-out other simple moments people have shared at Simple Things Sunday at the Simple As That Blog!
