Last Sunday, my brothers and I got together to have our own Thanksgiving. We seem to end up at different places on Thanksgiving Day, so we finally came up with our own get-together.
My older brother cooked chili and I brought hot dogs and apple pie. Our grandmother, Nain, also sent us some Red Hot Salad…anyone besides our family have any clue what it is?!? It has red hots, apple sauce, and jello in it with whip cream on top (in case you were wondering).

The girls wore their matching pink camo dresses that their uncle, my younger brother, bought them as an early Christmas present.
I had high hopes of getting some portrait quality family photos to give to our grandparents for Christmas. Instead, we made memories and enjoyed time together which doesn’t happen all that often! We did get a few photos that will make great 4×6 or 5×7, just not a giant canvas size quality for the house.
My younger brother had been hunting that morning and had some black face paint on. So, my niece and nephew decided they wanted to be like their uncle, but not my little K. The kids loved riding the horse and 4-wheeler with their uncle. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful start to a NEW TRADITION!
